This is the second edition of the “5432… MeetUs!” Conference. For us, it was crucial to not only find a location for the event, but to find a location that would be enjoyable for attendants and represent us well.

For this, we looked back at our history and our roots.

Leonardo da Vinci quickly came to mind. An inventor ahead of his time, Leonardo was a true Tuscan. We had a meeting in Milan and this is when we discovered the perfect place for the “5432…MeetUs!” Conference, organised by 2ndQuadrant Italy: The Palazzo Stelline Congress Centre!

logoThe halls of the conference centre overlook the seventeenth-century cloister, providing an abundance of natural light. The beautiful mosaic floor created in the seventies by Bobo Piccoli is considered a real work of art: 2,000 square meters of Seminato in multi-coloured marble.

Among the splendid arches of the cloister and a beautiful magnolia tree, the Palazzo Stelline Congress Centre is a green oasis in the centre of Milan. The Palazzo delle Stelline is a building with a rich history and culture indistinguishably linked directly to Leonardo da Vinci.

The foundation’s headquarters is located precisely where the great Renaissance master’s vineyards found fertile ground, the so-called “Orti di Leonardo”, is just a step away from the Santa Maria delle Grazie Church, where we can find his masterpiece “The Last Supper”.

This location is a peaceful and quiet retreat, full of Tuscan history, right in the heart of Milan that we could not pass up.

For those wishing to learn a bit of history, Leonardo arrived in Milan in 1482 and remained there for 16 years in the service of Ludovico il Moro. Here he worked in various jobs in the fields of science and arts, but he devoted himself mainly to painting.

In fact, he completed many very important works here such as “The Virgin of the Rocks” and “The Lady with an Ermine in Cracow”, but the prize masterpiece of his time in Milan is “The Last Supper”, painted around 1495-1497, which is in the refectory of the convent Santa Maria delle Grazie.

So, it’s official! The  “5432 … Meet Us!” Conference will be held in Milan on June 28 and 29 at the Palazzo Stelline Congress Centre!

We are looking forward to it, are you?!
